Q How does video compression work?
VideoLite uses advanced algorithms to analyze your video and remove redundant data while preserving visual quality. The process happens entirely on your device using Apple's native frameworks, ensuring fast processing and complete privacy.
Q Will I lose video quality?
VideoLite is designed to maintain visual quality while reducing file size. The default "Recommended" setting strikes the best balance between quality and size. For maximum quality preservation, use the "Low" compression option.
Q Where are my compressed videos saved?
Compressed videos are saved to your Photos library. The original video remains untouched—VideoLite creates a new compressed copy.
Q How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open VideoLite, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Your lifetime purchase will be restored automatically.
Q Why does the app need access to my photos?
VideoLite needs access to read videos you want to compress and to save the compressed versions. We only access videos you specifically select. Your content is never uploaded anywhere—all processing is local.
Q Can I get a refund?
Since purchases are processed through the App Store, refunds must be requested through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly. We're happy to help troubleshoot any issues before you decide to request a refund.
Q What video formats are supported?
